Psychology examines mental processes through scientific methods. You'll explore brain anatomy along with human perceptions, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. During your first and third years, you can select optional modules (including non-psychology subjects in year one to broaden your horizons). This flexibility allows you to focus on psychology topics that captivate you. With specialists covering all psychology disciplines, we provide diverse options in both theoretical and applied fields. You might study forensic psychology, clinical psychology, cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, neuropsychology, or social, educational, and developmental psychology.
Our groundbreaking research impacts real lives, and we invite students to contribute. In your final year, you'll conduct an independent research project with numerous topic options spanning behavioral to social psychology. Psychology students can also participate in our Psychology Insights initiative, collaborating with community partners on practical projects.
