Our BSc Accountancy Flying Start program is tailored for future ICAEW Chartered Accountants seeking a career head start. Developed in collaboration with PwC and ICAEW, this four-year degree combines academic rigor with professional experience. Starting in your second year, you'll complete paid placements at PwC, gaining practical exposure to real projects while expanding your professional network. These annual 3-4 month placements, supported by Nottingham University Business School and PwC mentors, provide invaluable industry experience.
The curriculum establishes core competencies in business finance, financial and management accounting, and business law. Numerous modules count toward your ACA qualification, accelerating your path to becoming a Chartered Accountant. Customize your education through elective modules in areas like entrepreneurship, risk management, or corporate governance to align with your career aspirations.

A level: AAA
Required subjects: GCSE Maths grade 6 (B) or above, GCSE English grade 5 (B) or above
Excluded subjects: General studies, critical thinking, and citizenship studies
IB score: 34 Points overall or 666 in 3 HL certificates

We recognise that applicants have a wealth of different experiences and follow a variety of pathways into higher education.
Consequently we treat all applicants with alternative qualifications (besides A-levels and the International Baccalaureate) on an individual basis, and we gladly accept students with a whole range of less conventional qualifications including:
Access to HE Diploma
Advanced Diploma
BTEC HND/HNC
BTEC Extended Diploma

RQF BTEC Nationals:
Three BTEC National Extended Certificates can be considered.
RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in any subject D*DD
RQF Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in any subject D*D plus 1 A level grade A 
RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Certificate in any subject D plus 2 A levels grades AA 
Access to HE Diploma:
Access to HE Diploma 36 Level 3 credits at Distinction and 9 Level 3 credits at Merit.
 
English language requirements:
7.0 (no less than 6.0 in each element)
TOEFL (iBT): 100 (minimum 19 in writing and listening, 20 in reading and 22 in speaking)
