Our strong connections with Nottingham's vibrant arts community - including the acclaimed Nottingham Contemporary and artist-run Primary space - offer placement and volunteer possibilities. The Centre for Research into Visual Culture welcomes undergraduate participation in its initiatives. Students recently contributed to the seminar series "Re-writing History: Monuments, Iconoclasm, and 2020's Social Justice Movements," engaging with contemporary discussions about statues - their origins and connections to systemic injustice and activism.
Prior study of Art or Art History isn't required for admission or success in this program.
