Legal education is evolving, and the University of Northampton's LLB Honours program has been updated to align with these developments, offering a solid foundation for launching your legal career. This LLB Law degree encompasses the seven core areas of legal knowledge mandated by the Bar Standards Board for admission to the Bar Training Course.

Aspiring solicitors will find our LLB program particularly valuable, as it includes specialized optional modules focused on Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) subjects like civil litigation, property law, business law, and criminal litigation alongside traditional legal fundamentals.

Our faculty comprises practicing solicitors and barristers, along with academics holding doctoral, master's, or professional qualifications. Many are engaged in cutting-edge legal research in fields like environmental and medical law with a focus on social justice. Faculty members also participate in community service and will encourage your own volunteer initiatives.
