Legal education is undergoing significant transformation, and the University of Northampton's LLB Honours program has evolved to align with these developments. This course offers a solid foundation for launching your legal career, covering all seven core areas of legal knowledge mandated by the Bar Standards Board for Bar Training Course eligibility.

Aspiring solicitors will find our LLB program particularly valuable, as it incorporates specialized modules focused on Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) preparation. These include civil litigation, property law and practice, business law, and criminal litigation alongside traditional legal fundamentals.

Our faculty comprises practicing legal professionals, including qualified solicitors and barristers, alongside academics holding advanced degrees. Actively engaged in cutting-edge research areas like environmental law and medical law with a social justice focus, many instructors also participate in voluntary work and encourage student involvement in similar initiatives.
