The Architectural Technology program at UON integrates project management, design, and technical expertise. This Architectural Technology program is recognized by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), granting you eligibility for student membership and exemptions from certain Professional and Occupational Performance record modules. Numerous alumni achieve CIAT professional certification by completing the necessary career development stages after graduation.
Our BSc Architectural Technology degree holds CIAT accreditation and has been recently updated to meet the latest QAA Subject Benchmark Statement for Architectural Technology standards.
The curriculum focuses on three core areas: Presentation, Technology, and Professional Practice and Design. These themes are developed progressively across the three-year program, exploring diverse subjects with increasing depth and complexity.
