The field of International Tourism Management is increasingly sought-after, as more than a billion individuals travel globally each year. Worldwide, the tourism sector sustains approximately 200 million jobs, equating to one in every eleven workers[i]. Despite global economic downturns, this industry has shown consistent growth and continues to thrive.
Studying International Tourism Management opens doors to diverse career paths across global and local settings, ranging from multinational corporations to community-based organizations, and from UNESCO World Heritage sites to national parks. Our specialized tourism management program is tailored to industry demands, equipping students with practical qualifications and competencies that offer a competitive edge in today's job market.
As a rapidly evolving sector, international tourism requires adaptable professionals. Graduates of this program will gain innovative management skills and knowledge to navigate and excel in this varied industry. The curriculum, developed in consultation with tourism leaders, includes four mandatory modules plus two additional required components. Students cultivate both theoretical understanding and practical business development strategies throughout their studies.
An optional work placement year is offered.
