This Clinical Data Science program is designed to equip healthcare professionals across various disciplines—from Knowledge and Library Specialists to nurses, allied health professionals, healthcare scientists, physicians, and more—with practical data science skills. Aligned with NHS principles, the course strengthens collaborative efforts and transforms data into improved patient outcomes.
Participants will build expertise in data science, statistics, and machine learning within healthcare settings, culminating in a postgraduate Clinical Data Science qualification.
The program enhances digital transformation skills in professional practice, though it does not prepare learners for full data scientist roles.

We require an honours degree (minimum 2:1) or overseas equivalent or relevant work experience.
Non-standard applications for the course from applicants who have significant relevant professional experience and/or where the academic qualification falls below a 2:1 degree will be considered on an individual basis, and may be admitted at the discretion of the Programme Director.
IELTS (Academic) minimum 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing
TOEFL 575 paper-based
TOEFL 230 computer-based (with a minimum score in the Test of Written English of 6.0)
TOEFL 90 internet-based (with a minimum score of 22 in each component)
