Physician associates have been part of the NHS for more than a decade, with their numbers growing steadily across the UK. As integral members of medical teams, they conduct patient examinations, request and analyze diagnostic tests, and suggest treatment plans. These healthcare professionals are becoming more vital within the sector, with qualified individuals being highly sought after. Our PGDip/MSc in Physician Associate Studies equips students with essential clinical competencies through academic instruction and hands-on training. Following the medical framework, you'll learn to work alongside physicians and other medical staff to assess and treat various common and challenging conditions. Those enrolled in the Master's program will additionally complete a research project tied to clinical practice during their second academic year.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants should hold or be predicted an Upper Second class degree (2:1). This may include the life sciences (e.g. biomedical science, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, healthcare science) or allied health professions (eg pharmacy, audiology, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy).
Although we encourage applications from other healthcare professionals, we do not accept applications from candidates with medical degrees or those who have previously studied for, but not completed, a medical or healthcare degree.
IELTS - 7.0 overall and no other element below 6.5.
TOEFL IBT - 100 overall with a minimum score of 22 in other elements.
PTE - Overall score of 76, with a minimum 70 in other elements.
All applicants should hold GCSE qualifications in Maths and English Language at grade B (6) or equivalent. Applicants with equivalent or non-standard qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.
