Our blended learning MSc in Humanitarian Practice is offered through the Leadership Education Academic Partnership (LEAP) initiative. This adaptable program, created by humanitarian professionals for humanitarian professionals, enables field workers to pursue studies while continuing their work. The course is a collaborative effort between the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) at The University of Manchester and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), working in conjunction with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
The curriculum integrates knowledge from diverse fields including epidemiology, history, political science, anthropology, development studies, international relations, public health, management, and humanitarian medicine, combining academic insights with practical expertise from seasoned professionals.
By transcending conventional academic boundaries, the program empowers you to critically analyze challenges from your professional experience and the broader humanitarian sector while building essential competencies for today's humanitarian practitioners.
