This Master of Science program in Structural Engineering includes eight instructional modules, each valued at 15 credits, along with a 60-credit research thesis. The curriculum explores sophisticated theoretical and design principles concerning both static and dynamic structural performance in steel and concrete. Specialized topics like seismic and fire-resistant engineering are incorporated. Students also gain foundational knowledge in finite element analysis, laboratory experimentation, and research methodologies. A standout feature is the examination of structural performance under extreme conditions such as fires and earthquakes, instructed by globally recognized experts. The Mechanical, Aerospace, and Civil Engineering (MACE) department boasts a diverse faculty with extensive research expertise and industry experience across multiple engineering disciplines.
