The recent pandemic has shown that viral infections like SARS-CoV-2, emerging coronaviruses, HIV, Ebola, and Zika represent some of humanity's most pressing health concerns. Addressing these critical threats requires skilled virologists equipped with diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive expertise. Our MSc Medical and Molecular Virology program delivers specialized training in medical virology, giving you the molecular techniques and knowledge to appreciate how modern virology increasingly relies on molecular and bioinformatic approaches.

You'll gain comprehensive insights into viral pathogens, their associated diseases, and their mechanisms of infection. The program also covers essential skills for detecting, managing, and stopping infections at both individual and population levels.

During advanced stages of the course, you'll select and execute a research project under expert guidance, allowing you to investigate current virological questions using advanced methodologies in world-class facilities.

By integrating academic rigor with real-world clinical virology practice, our MSc program remains at the forefront of medical and molecular virology education.
