The Master of Science in Project Management equips students for professional careers across diverse projects by offering comprehensive knowledge of both human and technical requirements essential for effective project leadership, along with organizational and strategic dimensions. This program is one of four specialized MSc options within the Project Management Program Group, which also includes Commercial Project Management, Construction Project Management, and Engineering Project Management. The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering boasts extensive experience in delivering project management master's programs, with faculty members coming from diverse professional backgrounds and industry expertise. The Manchester Engineering Campus Development (MECD), the university's new £400 million dedicated facility for engineering and materials science, is approaching its final stages of construction.

Qualification Requirements
The minimum academic entry requirement for this Master's course is an Upper Second Class (2:1) UK honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant subject, such as relevant engineering, science, business, economics and management disciplines. All applicants will need to demonstrate competency in English language. Applicants who do not already possess an acceptable English Language qualification will need to take a recognised test and attain the required English Language score: IELTS: at least 6.5 overall with 6.5 in writing and no other sub-test less than 6.0. TOEFL iBT: at least 90 overall with 22 or above in writing and no other sub-test less than 20. We do not accept 'MyBestScore'. Pearson PTE: at least 70 overall with 70 in writing and no other sub-test less than 65.
