The MSc Adult Nursing is a two-year program designed for pre-registration, culminating in qualification as an adult nurse recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. This collaborative program between The University of Manchester and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust equips graduates from diverse academic backgrounds for rewarding careers in nursing leadership, education, or clinical research. The curriculum maintains an equal balance between theoretical instruction and hands-on experience. Theoretical learning combines in-person and digital education with independent study, led by distinguished academics and healthcare professionals who emphasize applying cutting-edge research to real-world practice. Clinical training occurs within Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, supplemented by simulation exercises and essential skills training on campus. The first year establishes core nursing competencies, while the second year enhances capabilities in leadership, education, and research methodologies.
