The MPRE (Master of Planning with Real Estate) with Professional Placement is a five-year enriched undergraduate program that combines academic learning with practical experience, equipping you with essential career skills. This dual-accredited program (by RTPI and RICS) mirrors our BSc Planning and Real Estate curriculum in Years 1, 3, and 4, exploring challenges professionals face in managing built and natural environments. Your third year includes a paid placement with organizations in planning, urban design, or real estate, allowing you to apply your developing conceptual, digital, and communication abilities. The final year offers master's-level professional training in real estate, though you may opt to graduate after four years with a BSc if your career plans shift. At Manchester's Planning and Environmental Management department, we focus on addressing real-world challenges in communities and spaces where people live, work, and enjoy leisure.
