A Master's degree earned through thesis examination at the graduate research level. The program requires a minimum duration of one year. The submitted thesis must demonstrate the candidate's ability to conduct scholarly research, presenting original contributions situated within a broader academic context. This one-year postgraduate research program, known as the Master of Philosophy, involves a significant research undertaking. Participants may opt to enroll in select PhD-level research training courses, though such training isn't mandatory for the MPhil curriculum. While the MPhil program doesn't mandate research training coursework, students can voluntarily participate in available PhD research training sessions.
