The Manchester School of Architecture (MSA) maintains its position among the top-ranked architecture schools globally. Its Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) program holds professional accreditation from both the UK Landscape Institute and the International Federation of Landscape Architects internationally. The MLA program offers two distinct pathways, with part-time study options available for each.
For graduates with relevant degrees, a 2-year full-time conversion pathway leads to the Master of Landscape Architecture qualification. The first year (Part 1) spans September to June and carries 120 credits, while Part 2 extends from September to September with 180 credits.
Students possessing an undergraduate Landscape Architecture degree (or recognized equivalent) with a 2:2 classification or higher can pursue a condensed 1-year full-time MLA pathway. This intensive program runs from September to September and comprises 180 credits.
