This program mirrors the Mechanical Engineering MEng curriculum but incorporates an extra year of industrial experience. The MEng Mechanical Engineering provides a solid foundation in this fundamental engineering discipline, equipping you for diverse career paths in engineering, technology, business, and management.
Numerous students discover significant advantages in combining academic study with practical industry experience, enhancing both their education and future job prospects. You can undertake a structured industrial placement year, typically following the third year of the Mechanical Engineering program (returning afterward to complete the fourth year). Alternatively, you may choose to arrange your placement after the second year.
Throughout your placement year, you'll receive supervision from the host company while the university monitors your progress.

A A A in Mathematics, Physics and one other subject.

Typically this is five GCSEs/iGCSEs, including acceptable levels of literacy and numeracy - equivalent to at least Grade C/4 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Mathematics.
