Our MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies is designed to provide you with essential competencies for careers in translation or fields demanding intercultural communication proficiency. The program offers diverse specialization tracks such as commercial, audio-visual, scientific-technical, and literary translation, along with translation project management and work for international organizations—supporting translation both into and from English and various other languages. You'll receive instruction in translation technologies like translation memory systems, terminology management tools, and subtitling software. For students interested in interpreting, we offer foundational courses in consecutive interpreting and public service interpreting. Additionally, research-focused elective modules in translation/interpreting studies and cross-cultural pragmatics are available for those considering doctoral research in these disciplines.
