This course aims to foster an anthropological perspective on social life across diverse cultures, including both Western and non-Western contexts. By exposing you to the vast spectrum of human social and cultural practices, we seek to challenge conventional viewpoints and inspire fresh ways of thinking. Approximately one-third of the curriculum consists of foundational units that cover key theoretical discussions in social anthropology while introducing the discipline's unique research approaches and ethical considerations. Students can further customize their learning by selecting from numerous specialized electives taught by leading scholars, supplemented by additional options available throughout the Humanities Faculty.
