The Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Politics and International Relations is our specialized program for students focusing on political studies. Our curriculum and high-caliber research are organized around three key pillars: Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Political Philosophy. During your first and second years, you'll explore courses spanning these fundamental disciplines, with opportunities to select electives from complementary fields like economics, sociology, history, philosophy, or foreign languages. By your senior year, you'll have developed sophisticated political knowledge, equipping you to choose from our specialized upper-level courses that showcase our faculty's research strengths. Qualification Requirements

A-level AAA We do not accept two A/S Levels grades in place of one A-level. Applicants must be studying at least one of the following A-level subjects: Accounting, Anthropology, Business Studies, Classics, Economics, English Language/Literature, Further Mathematics, Geography, History, Law, Mathematics, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, Use of Mathematics and World Development. We accept native language A Levels providing they are taken in the same sitting as your other subjects. We will not accept the combination of Mathematics, Further Mathematics and a native language. We accept the Level 3 Diploma in Financial Studies (DipFS) as equivalent to an A-level if taken alongside two full A-levels from the list of acceptable subjects above. GCSE Applicants must demonstrate a broad general education including acceptable levels of Literacy and Numeracy, equivalent to at least Grade B or 6 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Grade C or 4 in GCSE/iGCSE Mathematics. GCSE/iGCSE English Literature will not be accepted in lieu of GCSE/iGCSE English Language. International Baccalaureate 6,6,6 at Higher level, 36 points overall. IELTS 7.0 overall with no lower than 6 in any component. TOEFL (IBT) 100 overall with a minimum of 20 in each subset.
