This combined degree program is designed for mathematics students who have a special focus on financial systems. It shares the same financial mathematics coursework as the Mathematics with Financial Mathematics program (UCAS code G1NH), but incorporates more Accounting and Finance content. This establishes essential finance knowledge, covering areas like global financial markets and corporate finance for multinational companies. Current subjects include Financial Reporting and Investment Analysis. The curriculum divides study time between Mathematics and Finance in a 3:1 ratio. Foundational mathematics courses equip you with core mathematical principles and techniques, forming the groundwork for advanced studies later. These fundamentals are taught during the first three semesters, concluding midway through your second year. You'll enhance your ability to grasp and implement mathematical concepts, appreciate mathematics' importance and potential, and gain comprehensive expertise in mathematical areas expected of any mathematics graduate. Following the initial three semesters, you can select from an expanding array of lecture courses to specialize in your preferred mathematical fields. Additionally, you have the option to complete a supervised final-year project on a mathematical subject with faculty guidance.
