With rising global demand for strategic solutions to evolving risks, crises, and conflicts stemming from both natural and human-made hazards, developing a deeper comprehension of the fundamental drivers behind disaster and conflict vulnerability becomes crucial for tackling modern international challenges. The BSc International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response program is an interdisciplinary initiative that fosters cooperation across natural sciences, social sciences, medical fields, and humanities. This program aims to connect the traditionally separate domains of development studies, disaster risk reduction, and peace and conflict research. Students will examine these pressing global and local UK issues through an integrated academic approach.
