Our Bachelor of Science in Immunology with Entrepreneurship program allows you to blend scientific knowledge with essential business competencies - a crucial factor for career readiness. Immunology represents a rapidly evolving discipline that influences current and emerging challenges across biomedical and biological sciences. The curriculum covers the elements, fundamentals, and processes of a properly functioning immune system, demonstrating how these components collaborate to provide effective defense against pathogens. You'll explore how the immune system differentiates between the body's own cells and foreign threats, adapts its responses to combat various infectious organisms, and how these defensive mechanisms change depending on infection sites like skin, intestinal tract, or respiratory system. Beyond understanding normal immune function, the program also examines cases of immune dysfunction, including allergic reactions, autoimmune disorders, and immunodeficiency conditions. Additional course content focuses on modern and developing applications of immunological components in diagnostic tools and medical treatments, such as cancer immunotherapy, vaccine research, and transplantation compatibility strategies.
