The Fashion Management program equips students with expertise in both managerial principles and textile science within the fashion sector. It explores modern management frameworks arising from evolving corporate hierarchies, challenging environmental factors, technological advancements, and varied workplace methodologies. The curriculum examines essential aspects of leadership and team dynamics, covering organizational elements, strategic planning, corporate culture, workforce management, and decision-making processes relevant to the international fashion landscape. Effective management entails optimizing resources to achieve business objectives through strategic planning, organizational structuring, leadership, and oversight. These principles permeate all business operations, from cultivating client connections and executing marketing initiatives to managing supplier networks and ethical procurement. Participants will master cutting-edge management strategies specifically tailored to the dynamic fashion industry, examining their application across branding, product development, manufacturing, and distribution networks. The program delves into pressing topics such as environmental sustainability, corporate ethics, and stakeholder relations. From the outset, students interact with industry professionals, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical implementation. This hands-on approach culminates in a capstone project where students can apply their skills by collaborating with or establishing a business to evaluate operations and propose enhancements.
