The BSc Education program integrates psychology, sociology, and policy analysis to explore teaching methodologies, address global educational disparities, and examine how government policies shape learning systems.
This interdisciplinary approach covers educational psychology, sociological perspectives on schooling, and policy evaluation, providing critical perspectives on worldwide educational challenges. Key study areas include foundational education topics, child development, neuroscience in education, and equity issues in global learning systems. This program is particularly valuable for those pursuing: Primary/Early Years teaching qualifications (such as PGCE Primary), specialized psychology careers with an educational focus (like educational psychology), education roles emphasizing student welfare or special needs support, TESL professions or NGO work in community/adult education (both domestically and internationally), as well as research-oriented careers in public or private sectors.
