Civil engineering focuses on planning, building, and sustaining our physical infrastructure, encompassing structures like skyscrapers and bridges, as well as transportation networks including highways and train systems - while examining their long-term impacts on both our world and communities. During the initial two years of our Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering program, you'll gain comprehensive knowledge in core areas like structural mechanics, fluid dynamics, soil mechanics, construction materials, design principles, project coordination, and applied mathematics. Your final year will feature an independent research initiative, offering opportunities to explore cutting-edge fields such as sustainable energy solutions and efficient resource utilization. Graduates will be prepared for careers in civil engineering - the program fully meets the academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status and provides partial fulfillment for Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualifications, with the remaining criteria achievable through additional accredited training.
