Our BA Linguistics program allows you to explore the scientific study of language - a fundamental aspect of human existence that influences both personal and worldwide interactions. In this course, you'll examine the phonetics and grammatical systems of diverse world languages, investigating subjects like: language origins, evolution and extinction, first language acquisition in children, second language learning in adults, gender-based speech variations, interpersonal and group communication dynamics, and linguistic interactions between different language communities.
