The BA in Art History is a comprehensive program that examines artistic movements and visual culture from the Middle Ages through today. With diverse faculty specializations, students can engage with a dynamic curriculum. In later years, you'll tailor your studies by choosing specialized tracks aligned with your passions. The program provides both breadth across disciplines and depth in focused research, with notable concentrations in Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Modern, Contemporary, and non-Western art traditions. A distinctive curatorial studies track explores museum operations, collection management, exhibition design, and art criticism.

Qualification Requirements

A-level Grades ABB. It is not necessary to have studied Art or Art History before taking this course. However, we welcome students who can show an active interest in and enthusiasm for the subject by visiting museums and galleries or by their choice of reading. GCSE Applicants must demonstrate a broad general education including acceptable levels of Literacy and Numeracy, equivalent to at least Grade C or 4 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Mathematics. GCSE/iGCSE English Literature will not be accepted in lieu of GCSE/iGCSE English Language. International Baccalaureate 34 points overall. 6,5,5 in Higher Level subjects IELTS 7.0 overall with no less than 6.5 in any one component, TOEFL iBT - 100
