Our BA History program allows you to customize your studies based on your interests while learning from one of Britain's largest groups of history experts. You'll select from diverse course options spanning ancient, medieval, modern, economic, and social history, plus specialized areas like the history of science, technology, and medicine. During your first two years, you can explore subjects beyond history, including languages, humanities, and social sciences. The program also offers international study opportunities. In your final year, you can focus on a specific historical field or maintain a broad approach, choosing from courses covering British, European, American, African, and Asian history across various eras. The degree culminates with a substantial 12,000-word research project.
