The BA in German and Japanese offers thorough training in the German language while allowing students to delve into German culture, linguistics, history, and literature. This program prepares you with the necessary abilities and knowledge to excel in German-speaking settings. Additionally, Japanese language studies are integrated throughout the curriculum. Qualification Requirements

A-level ABB including one of the languages to be studied This programme is designed for students whose level of Japanese at entry ranges from complete beginner to approximately A-level standard. It is not suitable for students whose first language is Japanese. GCSE Applicants must demonstrate a broad general education including acceptable levels of Literacy and Numeracy, equivalent to at least Grade C or 4 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Mathematics. GCSE/iGCSE English Literature will not be accepted in lieu of GCSE/iGCSE English Language. International Baccalaureate 34 points overall. 6,5,5 in Higher Level subjects including one of the languages to be studied.
