The BA Geography program examines the dynamic relationship between humans and their surroundings, delving into cultural, economic, urban, and political aspects of contemporary global issues. At The University of Manchester, we've offered Geography education for over 125 years - what better place to explore this discipline than in this evolving urban center, surrounded by national parks and extensive coastlines? The city itself becomes a vital learning resource, providing abundant fieldwork opportunities nearby. In your second year, you'll conduct international field studies in locations such as Greece, Amsterdam, and the Czech Republic. Our faculty members, renowned for their global research expertise across diverse specialties, ensure you'll have ample flexibility in both subject matter and learning approaches.
