IntroductionThis MCD accredited program is recognized by the Royal Town Planning Institute and available for both full-time and part-time study.Urban design and planning involves a multidisciplinary approach, integrating knowledge from landscape architecture, engineering, social sciences, and environmental studies.Our curriculum covers core urban design and planning concepts, equipping you with essential skills for shaping and managing urban environments. You'll examine contemporary urban challenges across social, economic, and environmental dimensions while learning to develop creative planning solutions.Upon completion, you'll gain the ability to assess urban settings, create design proposals, and analyze project impacts at various scales. Whether your goal is to work as an urban designer, planner, or researcher, this program delivers the expertise required for professional success.
We accept a 2:2 honours degree from a UK university, or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar non-UK institution. This degree can be in any relevant subject discipline. Non-graduates with very extensive professional experience and/or other prior qualifications may also be considered. IELTS: 6.5 overall, with no component below 6.0. TOEFL iBT: 88 overall, with minimum scores of listening 19, writing 19, reading 19 and speaking 20. TOEFL Home Edition not accepted.
