Addressing this rising demand presents numerous worldwide challenges that require skilled electrical and electronic engineering professionals to develop crucial solutions.This program offers exceptional opportunities to influence our planet's future, with its curriculum specifically crafted for this purpose.Created in collaboration with industry leaders, this master's program tackles environmental issues, renewable power generation, smart grid technologies, high-voltage engineering, along with research and management competencies. Students will also participate in field visits and hands-on practical sessions.This two-year industrial placement program shares identical coursework with its one-year counterpart. The industry year provides valuable workplace experience to enhance skills and implement academic knowledge. This placement serves as an excellent opportunity to explore career paths and establish professional connections. Typically completed over two years, the 30-week placement runs from September in year one through June in year two.Note: We regularly evaluate and enhance our postgraduate offerings. Starting September 2025, this MSc will also be available under the alternative title Energy & Power Systems with Year in Industry MSc (Eng), allowing graduates to choose between both degree designations.Target audienceThis master's program is designed for graduates holding strong degrees in electrical/electronic engineering or related disciplines.
