The University of Liverpool, collaborating with Imperial College London, is establishing an innovative research center to pioneer next-generation Digital AI solutions for chemistry. This transformative initiative seeks to establish UK dominance in Digital Chemistry and lead the emerging Digital AI Chemistry movement.

Our innovative Digital Chemistry MSc bridges multiple disciplines, providing chemistry graduates with training in AI concepts, automation systems, robotic applications, and digital transformation relevant to chemical research. The program cultivates students' expertise in digital workflows and analytical methods, enabling them to strategically implement these approaches across diverse chemical domains including pure substances, pharmaceutical development, and formulated products.

Qualification Requirements

The minimum entry requirements are UK BSc (Hons) Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry-related degrees 2.1 or equivalent. We are able to offer a level of flexibility for applicants. Those with a 2:2 honours degree will be considered on an individual basis. In addition, international candidates are required to have a level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or reach this standard by satisfactorily completing equivalent pre-sessional English language classes at the University of Liverpool.
