For those pursuing a career in science—be it in academia, industry, or biomedical research—this MRes program equips you with advanced expertise, practical skills, and deep insights into biological and biomedical sciences. The curriculum offers 7 specialized tracks (Bio-Imaging; Cancer Biology and Therapy; Cell and Tissue Signalling; Bioinformatics and AI; Pharmacology and Toxicology; Plant Biology; Structural Biology), allowing you to select a pathway and research project aligned with your academic interests. The program centers on a year-long research project conducted within the Institute of Systems, Molecular and Integrative Biology. We accept a 2:2 honours degree from a UK university, or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar non-UK institution. This degree should be in a subject related to Biological Sciences.
