PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Aerospace Engineering with a Year in Industry MEng is a four-year integrated Master's program designed to accelerate graduates toward achieving Chartered Engineer status with either the Institution of Mechanical Engineers or the Royal Aeronautical Society.

As an aerospace engineering student, you'll explore diverse subjects and learning approaches, from conducting research and analyzing data to designing and assembling aircraft.

The MEng program provides deeper specialization in core aerospace disciplines compared to the three-year BEng degree. Graduates will master essential industry skills through advanced coursework in areas like aerodynamics, aerostructures, flight dynamics, guidance systems, and business studies.

This program includes a year-long industrial placement in your third year with an approved organization. This experience cultivates professional competencies and workplace skills, significantly boosting career prospects for roles in aerospace and related engineering fields. Placement availability depends on industry opportunities and academic performance in prior years.
