The MEng program provides students with expanded expertise in key aerospace disciplines through advanced coursework.
Alongside fundamental aerospace engineering subjects, you'll undertake pilot training modules to gain practical flying experience. Pilot studies participants can utilize the student pilots laboratory and participate in the Flight Simulation Group (FSG). By completing this Aerospace Engineering program at Liverpool, you'll demonstrate comprehensive aircraft design, construction, testing, and operational capabilities.
Throughout your aerospace engineering studies, you'll engage with diverse subjects and learning approaches, from research projects to technical report analysis and aircraft development. The curriculum covers essential areas including aerodynamics, aircraft structures, flight control systems, propulsion technologies, avionics, aerospace materials, and vehicle design.
Aerospace professionals create, evaluate, construct, test, and service aircraft systems and components, including those operating beyond Earth's atmosphere.
Your independent research project will foster innovative thinking in your chosen technical specialization. Our Aerospace Engineering degrees hold accreditation (or are undergoing accreditation) from the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, serving as recognized qualifications toward Chartered Engineer certification.
