Pharmacology is a dynamic field of experimental science focused on examining how chemical compounds affect living organisms. The Master of Pharmacology (MBiol) spans four years, beginning with the three-year BSc in Pharmacology, followed by an optional fourth year based on academic achievement.

During the initial three years, you'll explore diverse topics such as drug discovery, cellular mechanisms of health and disease, applied pharmacology, and advanced therapeutics, with opportunities to specialize and conduct independent research.
The fourth (Master's) year enhances research and professional skills, preparing students for advanced careers in academia (e.g., PhD studies) or industry. Participants will join a research team for an in-depth project and may pursue a six-week summer research internship locally or abroad. Alternatively, they can opt for industry placements or other professional experiences in their final year.
