This program covers medico-legal ethics, fundamental concepts like autonomy, capacity, and best interests, along with theories governing medical and healthcare regulation. Our LLM in Law, Medicine and Healthcare delivers comprehensive insights into how legal frameworks intersect with medical practice. You'll join a varied student body, including those from medical and legal backgrounds, learning from distinguished faculty in our Health Law and Regulation Unit.

You'll acquire versatile skills in applying legal knowledge, analyzing laws and policies, and constructing legal arguments. All participants receive specialized Legal Research Training to strengthen their legal writing, research, and presentation capabilities.

The flexible program structure lets you choose specialized modules and undertake a dissertation on a subject of your choice, guided by experts in Law, Medicine and Healthcare.

We provide numerous extracurricular and career development activities to create well-prepared graduates. Qualification Requirements

For entry to our master's programmes we require a minimum of a 2:1 class honours degree from a UK university in Law (BA or LLB), or in a relevant degree subject, including: Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, International Relations, Banking, Management Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences and Economics.

IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component)
TOEFL iBT 88 or above with minimum scores in components as follows: Listening and Writing 19, Reading 19, Speaking 20.
