This program addresses the demand for dental professionals seeking an advanced degree offering specialized clinical training in Pediatric Dentistry. The Professional Doctorate combines research with practical skills development. Graduates who complete the DDSc in Pediatric Dentistry will receive their degree from the University of Liverpool and qualify to take the Tri-collegiate Membership in Pediatric Dentistry (MPaedDent) exam administered by the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) of Edinburgh, England, and Glasgow.
The curriculum incorporates both the UK Specialist Guidelines for Pediatric Dentistry and the Tri-collegiate RCS Edinburgh standards for Pediatric Dentistry.
Competitively awarded funded specialist trainee positions are available to qualified applicants through national recruitment.
