At Liverpool, the Occupational Therapy curriculum prepares you with diverse academic and clinical abilities for a meaningful career improving lives affected by physical, emotional, and social challenges.
You'll learn from esteemed faculty with substantial clinical and research backgrounds, graduating with current expertise. The program includes human anatomy studies using our advanced Human Anatomy Resource Center, helping you understand how illnesses and disabilities affect daily activities.
Over three years, you'll complete clinical rotations across various specialties in physical/mental healthcare and learning disabilities, serving patients from childhood through older adulthood. International study options are also available.
With over 1,000 clinical hours combined with theoretical learning, Liverpool graduates gain the expertise to assess psychosocial, physical, and environmental factors affecting patients and develop effective treatment plans.
The program holds accreditation from the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT), and World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) - crucial credentials for graduates pursuing global career opportunities.
