As an aerospace engineering student, you'll explore diverse subjects and learning approaches, from conducting research and analyzing data to designing and constructing aircraft. Throughout your studies at Liverpool, you'll examine various disciplines including aerodynamics, aircraft structures, flight mechanics, propulsion technology, avionics, aerospace materials, and aircraft design.

Aerospace engineers create, evaluate, construct, test, and maintain flying vehicles along with their components and supporting systems. Their work encompasses both atmospheric flight and space exploration beyond Earth's boundaries.

Through independent research projects, you'll gain expertise to pioneer new ideas in your chosen technical specialization.

The year-in-industry option allows you to spend your third year working with an approved company, developing practical skills and professional competencies that boost your career prospects. This experience prepares you for project-based, research, and management positions in aerospace and related engineering fields. AAB including Mathematics and a second science.
Applicants with the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) are eligible for a reduction in grade requirements. For this course, the offer is ABB with A in the EPQ.
BTEC Level 3 Diploma
Distinction* Distinction* in relevant BTEC considered alongside A Level Mathematics grade B. Accepted BTECs include Aeronautical, Aerospace, Construction, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Engineering.
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma
D*DD in acceptable BTEC, plus B in A level Maths (not accepted without B in A level Maths)

International Baccalaureate
35 overall including 5 in Higher Level Mathematics and 5 in Higher Level Physics.

TOEFL - Minimum 78 overall with L 17 W 17 R 17 and S 19
