The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics program integrates three essential disciplines central to civic engagement and policymaking. In today's world, political comprehension and advancement require economic literacy, while grasping the philosophical foundations of competing political ideologies remains critically valuable. This degree enables students to navigate the intersections of these fields, develop expertise in mathematical economics, and hone analytical skills for assessing the core principles shaping policy discussions. Graduates gain a versatile skill set that employers highly value for its interdisciplinary perspective.
The first year consists exclusively of required courses: four in Economics alongside two each from Philosophy and Politics. Second-year students complete core Economics requirements, one mandatory Philosophy course, and select from various Philosophy and Politics electives to tailor their academic path. The final year offers a choice between a PPE-oriented internship or thesis project, followed by elective courses across all three disciplines.
