Students can explore diverse topics within social and political sciences, with current projects examining subjects like the 1984/85 miners' strikes, gender-based violence, conflict prevention, educational disparities, women's labor migration, and contemporary underground music culture. The program offers both MPhil and PhD degrees, typically completed through thesis work with full-time or part-time options. The School fosters independent research skills through tailored support, structured progress tracking, and guidance from two dedicated supervisors, focusing on both skill development and knowledge advancement.
