Typically, students initially enroll in an MPhil program, transitioning to PhD status within 12 months (or 24 months for part-time students) by presenting and defending a thorough research proposal during a transfer viva. Final approval for this progression rests with the University's Research Committees.

Normally candidates should hold a 2-1 honours degree, or international equivalent in a relevant subject. You should also hold a Master's degree, or international equivalent, at merit or above.

TOEFL IBT - 90 overall , Reading - 21, Listening - 20, Speaking - 22, Writing - 24.
