While students conduct independent research, they benefit from expert supervision by academics specializing in diverse aspects of Classical Studies, covering local and global perspectives from Lincoln to the Mediterranean and ancient Near East. The School of Humanities and Heritage unites scholars, archivists, and researchers with interdisciplinary expertise in ancient studies and classical reception. We maintain robust connections with the broader academic and professional community.
MPhil/PhD candidates are invited to engage with the School's vibrant research environment, including seminars, postgraduate discussions, social activities, and skill-building workshops designed to enhance academic development.
