Nurses play a crucial role in modern healthcare systems, working across both primary and secondary care environments to improve health outcomes, assist patients and families, and assess community healthcare requirements.
The University of Lincoln addresses contemporary and emerging healthcare challenges through three specialized nursing programs focused on adult, pediatric, and mental health care. During the COVID-19 crisis, our nursing students made significant contributions by assisting local hospitals, vaccination sites, and the University's Test and Trace Center. We take great pride in our students' commitment and service.
Our NMC-accredited programs qualify graduates for nursing registration, equipping them to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council's educational standards and practice requirements. Students develop into skilled, thoughtful practitioners who champion excellence within their chosen nursing specialties.
Through partnerships with healthcare employers, the School of Health and Social Care offers government and employer-funded nursing degree apprenticeships for working professionals.
