Lincoln's Biomedical Science program provides a comprehensive scientific education, employing a multidisciplinary approach that combines classroom instruction, discussions, and practical lab sessions. The curriculum focuses on cultivating versatile skills including information gathering, analytical reasoning, solution development, and evaluative thinking, alongside direct laboratory experience.
This program holds accreditation from the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS). Graduating from an IBMS-accredited Biomedical Science program, completing competency assessments after gaining six to twelve months of NHS laboratory experience, and obtaining HCPC registration are all mandatory requirements for professional certification as a biomedical scientist.
