The BA (Hons) Media Studies program empowers students to examine how 21st-century media shapes our digital society while cultivating essential analytical and innovative abilities for this evolving landscape.
Media studies has become increasingly vital and engaging. Today's digital, interconnected media permeates every aspect of daily life, wielding extraordinary influence over public discourse, discussions, and social change. Our modern existence revolves around media-rich environments where we interact, labor, entertain, and connect.
This course offers rigorous and forward-thinking exploration of contemporary media in all its forms. Students examine everything from personal technologies like mobile devices and computers (with their associated platforms including social networks and gaming) to conventional media such as cinema and broadcast television (and their digital evolution through innovations like on-demand streaming).

International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma from a minimum of 2 Higher Level subjects.

T Level Merit
Access to Higher Education Diploma 45 Level 3 credits with a minimum of 112 UCAS Tariff points
A combination of qualifications which may include A Levels BTEC EPQ etc
Applicants will also need at least three GCSEs at grade 4 C or above which must include English Equivalent Level 2 qualifications may be considered
EU and Overseas students will be required to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each element.TOEFL IBT - 79 overall, Reading - 18 , Listening -17, Speaking - 20, Writing - 20.
